Our first skateboarding lesson
Last Wednesday 11th February we had our first skateboarding lesson at school.
It took as a while to put all our safety gear on. Helmets, wrist guards, knee pads and elbow pads. We also had to make sure we were wearing sneakers.
Once we were all suited up, our instructors showed us how to stand on a skateboard, push with our other foot and then glide to the other end of the court.
Some of us were scared. BUT we all gave it a go and had so much fun!
I think we are all going to be skateboarding experts by the end of our 5 lessons.

Go Room 24! The skateboarding sessions have been a huge hit. I wonder if WH is going to produce the next Tony Hawk!
